These are examples of Great Big Dream actual scans at different gestational ages. Every baby is different and every scan is different (even with the same baby or mommy). What Does 4D Look Like?

16-20 Weeks

not recommended for 4D scans

Babies at this age are VERY SKINNY and we cannot always get a face picture. Sometimes we only get the side of the baby or the baby's back depending on their positioning. At this age, we cannot guarantee that we will get a face or front picture of the baby. We can, however, provide gender reveal testing as early as 9 weeks!

28-30 Weeks

These are examples of babies around 28-30 weeks during their 4d scans. This is a GREAT time to get pictures of your baby's face! These mommies all followed our prep instruction precisely.  Being well hydrated is KEY to great 4d pictures. Hydration means drinking water everyday prior to your scan, not just the day of, especially during summer months, when we dehydrate quicker.  We need you to be hydrated so your amniotic fluid levels are good to get you a good 4d pictures. Please always read the prep instructions fully before your session.   (Of course, always check with your doctor about your personal situation)
